Moderation policy

We here at Bristol Castle have, in the past, been very accommodating, offering little in the way of truly effective moderation. Some discussions have gone too far, though.

From today forward, Bristol Castle will be working a zero tolerance policy for flaming. Polite disagreement is certainly permissible, and respectful argument is needed for political discussion. But if the admins think that a statement is in any way stronger than that, then there will be bans here. In other words, if you think that there's a chance in hell that anyone else would consider a word or phrase defamatory, or think that it has any emotional charge in it, or if you even THINK that someone might feel harassed by it, CHANGE YOUR WORDS! Otherwise, someone's going to be taking a vacation.

Posts dated earlier than 20 Feb 2008 will not be so examined. Your admins don't believe in retroactive rules.

I suppose this would include abusive, untrue, and just downright horrible PM's that come to the Mod's and Admin's attention?

Well first I dunno what happen, dunno why some are ban, know nothing about what have going on.

I think anyone reading the highland hall in RK forum can understand why.

Now to put it simple follow the rules of this forum for everyone.

That means respect, civility.

If not then don't ask for forgiveness, I am totally neutral and could care less who is right or wrong.

But breaking any rules by flamming, attack and other stuff like that is a sure bban thing

A rule that should not even need to be made here!!

There should never be any manipulation of competition results sponsered by the SAS, held in these barracks or otherwise. NEVER That means no deleting and re-rolling posts.

Anyone caught skewing the results of any tournament, training, or competition in this manner may have their moderator rights and any commanding rank stripped immediately!

NOTE: The administration monitors all forum moderation activities.

As a reminder and as written above, no one should be deleting posts of information. Archive old posts that are no longer needed or of derogetory content in the appropriate area.
